🧪 Easier Version

The easier version includes more support built directly into the puzzles, including additional hints and more guided visual clues. It’s a great choice for students who are new to escape rooms or groups that benefit from a little more scaffolding.

🔮 Harder Version

The harder version removes some of that support and makes the visual clues more subtle. Students will need to make more independent observations, connect clues, and figure out what information matters.

Both versions use the same core story and puzzles, so you can choose the challenge level without having to prepare two completely different activities.

Welcome to the Apothecary Shoppe

Something has gone terribly wrong.

The protective wards surrounding the Apothecary Shoppe are beginning to fail. The shoppe’s mentor has mysteriously disappeared, and the door has been sealed shut.

Your students are the apprentice apothecaries—and they’re the only ones who can fix it.

Working in small groups, students will investigate the clues left behind and collect the ingredients they need to escape.

But there’s a catch:

Not every ingredient belongs in the final solution.

Students will need to pay attention, think carefully, and work together to figure out which clues actually matter.
