Not your ordinary classroom coaching

Right now, you’re dealing with students having side conversations, not doing their work, getting out of their seats, challenging you, and derailing your lesson. This leads to lost teaching time…and to stress, burnout, and lost joy.

You want things to change…and you know change is possible…but you also don’t have time to set up traditional coaching meetings. Asynchronous coaching gives a secure message channel and unlimited coaching messages. Get solutions without blocking out time for meetings or ever leaving your classroom.

I’m Tori, your classroom systems coach

Over my 16 years in the classroom, I’ve taught every grade from K-8, in both public and private schools.

And I’ve had some of the most challenging students – and classes – in the school. The ones with reputations.

No matter what your challenge is, I can give you tools and strategies to face it and come out stronger on the other side.

How does asynchronous coaching work?

01

Set up Telegram (free app)

We’ll use this to communicate with voice, text, and video notes. All messages are secure.

02

Tell me your troubles

Once you purchase a week of coaching, you’ll receive instructions on how to contact me on Telegram. Send me a message with whatever classroom problems you’re dealing with.

03

Get an (almost) immediate response

The best part of asynchronous coaching is that I can respond nearly right away. If you send a message during the last 30 seconds of your plan period because you’re dreading the moment your students return from P.E., I can respond right away – no need to wait for a scheduled coaching session.

04

Keep messaging!

Few classroom problems are solved in a day, so you can keep messaging throughout the week as you try new strategies and find out what works. You can even message me after school or in the evening if something comes to mind!

Frequently Asked Questions

When do you respond to asynchronous coaching questions?

I understand that when you’re dealing with a behavior issue or an angry parent email, you need help right away. I do my best to reply as soon as I am able, Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm Central Time. (You are always welcome to message me outside of those hours, though!)

Do you save or record coaching sessions?

No. We’ll be discussing student behavior, and although I trust you to use aliases for students, I want to limit potential student data exposure. Once your scheduled time ends, all messages will be erased from chat history. If you want to save any messages or resources, I suggest downloading them or purchasing additional weeks.

Do you guarantee any results?

Just like with a new car, your mileage may vary. Lots of factors contribute to calming your classroom chaos, and many of them are beyond my control. However, I can promise you at least one classroom-tested action you can take (often without any prep). You’ll always leave feeling confident in your next steps.

Do I need school/district approval to work with you?

In most cases, no. I’ve never personally seen a teaching contract that restricts teachers from working with an independent classroom coach during their plan time. That said, every district is different. I recommend double-checking your contract (or asking your union rep, if applicable) to make sure you’re covered. Coaching sessions are your responsibility to schedule in a way that aligns with your contract and district or school policies.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you purchased asynchronous coaching by mistake or realize that it isn’t a good fit for you, you may cancel anytime until you send your first message. Once I start coaching you, due to the nature of coaching and digital services, no refunds will be offered. (Reach out if you have a unique situation that affects you or your circumstances; I’m happy to help.)

What if I have a question that wasn’t answered here?
